With over 15 years in user experience (UX) design and information architecture (IA), I have had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects that have impacted millions of users. My journey began at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where I spent a decade designing websites for various divisions, culminating in the development of a patient portal for SF General Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeking to broaden my horizons, I transitioned into consulting, allowing me to collaborate with exceptional teams across numerous industries and tackle intricate design challenges. During this period, I honed my skills in team dynamics and gained invaluable insights into creating innovative products and solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After my consulting tenure, I joined Xoom, a PayPal company, as a UX designer for their mobile app team. Since then, I have held positions as a responsive web designer at MuleSoft, a mobile web designer at Salesforce, and most recently, a full-time UX designer at Charles Schwab, contributing to the design of their desktop and mobile applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside my professional endeavors, I am passionate about giving back to the UX\/IA community. As a registered mentor for the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) and the Information Architecture Institute (IAI), I dedicate time to mentoring individuals interested in pursuing careers in these fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond my work, I find solace in music, playing bass and guitar regularly, and jamming with friends<\/a> in Marin County. I am an avid practitioner of yoga and relish opportunities to travel and explore new destinations when not designing or playing music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
