Shown are the 2023 Trade Landing for first time, and return users which shows recently searched symbols for quick trades. I was primary on Android, and my design partner was primary on iOS (shown). Both designs were in full alignment and included tablet (not shown).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Problem<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The firm had grown many new offerings over the years, and wanted a way to market them to our Clients including Thematic Investing and Stock Slices\u00ae plus allow for the navigation to Order Status. We needed to keep the ability to trade Stocks, Options and Mutual Funds visible at the top of the screen. We also needed to display a field for symbol search and available balances.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Solution<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"> Instead of showing all Trade options on a single screen (as we had for many years), we opted to go with the Symbol search, which transforms the landing screen to a full Trade screen once a symbol is entered.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>App<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/schwab-mobile\/id407358186\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Schwab App<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary The Charles Schwab Brokerage wanted to update the mobile Trade experience to accommodate for new items we were offering our Clients.
